application process

Customers according to their own circumstances, there are two ways to obtain clearance documents CoC certificate. However, in order to reduce the export risk, the general customer to choose the exporting country to apply for the way.

1. Country of destination Application:

1) Simple Process: Inbound Sampling Test ------ Inspection ----- (If required: Apply for TEC Certificate) ----- Apply for CoC clearance.

2) After the product arrives at Kuwaiti port, the Kuwaiti Industrial Authority PAI samples the sample at the port for full testing. After the test is completed, PAI carries on the technical inspection to the product. PAI audit test reports and inspection reports, in full compliance with the requirements, issued by the Certificate of Conformity (CoC) for customs clearance.

Note: In the case of high frequency shipments, a TEC (Technical Evaluation Certificate) may be requested from the PAI based on the test report. The validity of the certificate is based on the test report and is valid for 2 years after the test report is issued. In the certificate validity period, not need to submit a test report every shipment, just issued a TEC certificate can be.

2. Application by the exporting country:

1) Simple Process: Incoming Sampling Test ------ Inspection ----- (If required: Apply for TEC Certificate) ----- Apply CoC Clearance

2) Products in the exporting country, apply to the qualification test laboratory. After the completion of the test, apply to the qualified inspection agency pre-shipment inspection PSI, access to technical inspection reports TIR (Technical Inspection Report). PAI audit test report and TIR inspection report, fully meet the requirements, issued by the Certificate of Conformity (CoC) for customs clearance.

Note: For high frequency shipments, customers can request TER (Technical Evaluation Report) based on the test report. The validity period of the TER certificate is based on the test report, which is usually 3 years for CB report and 2 years for other IEC report. In the TER validity period, no need to submit a test report every shipment, you can only issue a TER.
